Large Vase Progression

This is the progression of a resent commission.

The piece measures approximately 

14" long x 12" wide x 8" tall.

This alone presented 

several challenges.

    

The interior structure secures the shape, lessens the
risk of warping.

After a domed top was added, 

I worked on the layout of the 

flowers.

Flowers are held in place until firing with 

wooden skewers after painting on underglazes.
